Heads of enterprises polluting the environment should expect big troublesduring the upcoming two-month period. Unauthorized landfills located in hidden places will be discovered by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during a helicopter inspection. At the same time, information on environmental violations will be sent weekly to the President of Tatarstan. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief State Inspector in the field of environmental protection FayazShakirov at the zone meeting in NaberezhnyeChelny. He reminded the representatives of NaberezhnyeChelny, Nizhnekamsk, Yelabuga, AktanyshAgryz, Zainsk, Mamadysh, Mendeleev, Menzelin, Sarmano and Tukayev districts that the sanitary and ecological two-month campaign starts on the next Saturday. Prior to the beginning of summer, the territory of the republic should be brought into a state that meets the requirements of ecological and sanitary-epidemiological safety of people. He urged the residents of the districts to support the sanitary-ecological two-month period. The most active citizens will be awarded in the framework of competitions in the nominations: Eco-school; Eco-family; Eco-enterprise; Eco-IHL; “Eco-kindergarden” (for kindergartens); “Eco-community” (for public environmental organizations, associations); “Ecocentre” (for urban children’s ecological and biological centres). This year, the competition “100 green corners of the Republic of Tatarstan”is also added, under which the most active kindergartens and schools will receive planting materials for the improvement of their territories to create additional green public spaces.
