Issues of compliance with environmental legislation at water bodiesdiscussed in Chistopol

Head of the Volga-Kama territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan RafisAhmetzyanov took part in the meeting of the Security Council in Chistopol. The meeting was also attended by leaders and law enforcement officials, representatives of interested services and organizations. The head of the Volga-Kama TA reported on the violations of water protection legislation in the Chistopol district in 2016. In the Chetyrsky rural settlement, 2 facts of restriction of free access of citizens to the public water object and its coastal strip were revealed. Offenders were brought to administrative responsibility, violations were eliminated on a voluntary basis. In the course of joint inspections with theChistopolprosecutor’s office and the Chistopol department of Rosreestr, violations of a special regime for the conduct of economic and other activities on the coastal protective strip of the water body and the water protection zone of the water body were revealed, namely: 4 facts in the village of Galaktionovoof Danaurov rural settlement, 1 fact in Chistopol. Lawsuits were filed to eliminate violations. By now all claims have been satisfied. As noted by RafisAhmetzyanov, according to Article 65 of the Water Code, movement and parking of vehicles (except for special vehicles) is prohibited within the boundaries of water protection zones, except for their movement along roads and parking on roads and in specially equipped places with a hard surface. For violation of this article, 29 citizens were brought to responsibility in the Chistopol district. Work in this direction continues,the water protection zones where appropriate signs are installedare inspected weekly.
