Kazan schoolchildren presented projects on greening the city. City scientific-practical conference “Step into science: Nature. Human. Mind” in gymnasium No. 3

Kazan students are ready to contribute to the protection of the environment of their native city. They expressed their ideas on greening of Kazan at the XII City Scientific and Practical Conference of Students “Step into Science: Nature. Human. Mind” held in gymnasium No. 3. The participants demonstrated projects on landscaping of school territory, improvement of city streets, elimination of water pollution of the Lake SredniyKaban. The projects presented at the section “Nature around me and my active attitude towards it” were highly appreciated by the jury: “Ecology in fairy tales, or journey of a small fish”, “Eco-city – cityof the future”, “Favourite school yard”“Green zone”. As guests of honour, the event was attended by the specialists of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Environmentalists noted that the projects of students are relevant and original. They, on the right, can be called multifunctional. First, the projects solve the environmental problems of the city. Secondly, they can modernize and improve the appearance of Kazan. Thirdly, they contribute to the identification of talent in the younger generation. 28 children talked about the interaction of man and nature at the conference. The most active participants were students of Gymnasium No. 3 of Kazan. The activity of the children was strongly influenced by the teachers of the gymnasium, who pay great attention to children in terms of their environmental education.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
During a survey of the territory of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, inspectors from the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded violations of environmental legislation.
At school No. 5 in Aznakaevo, an environmental lesson "Earth is our home" was held, organized by inspectors of the Priiksky Department for 1st grade students.
