“Second life of packaging”. Kazan students can participate in creative eco-contest.

Kazan schoolchildren are invited to participate in the annual contest of children’s art “Second life of packaging”. The event for students is conducted by the Education Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan and the City Children’s Ecological and Biological Center.

The contest-exhibition is held in the following nominations:

- “Paper”– packing paper, newspapers, magazines, corrugated cardboard;

- “Plastic” – plastic bottles, CDs, DVD;

- “Glass” – glass containers, light bulbs;

- “Metal” – screws, cans, details ofwatches and clocks and other mechanisms.

Voluminous works are accepted in any technique of execution, from 20 to 50 centimeters high, made of waste material. The pieces can be decorated with various elements (buttons, sequins, beads, microbeads, polymer clay), while soft plasticine, foam balls and garments are not allowed. All the details of the piece must be securely fixed and do not contain staining materials.

The contest-exhibition “Second Life of Packaging” is held in two stages:

I stage – from 3 to 20 April 2017; Pieces are accepted from April, 3 till April, 14, 2017 from 9.00-16.00 at the address MBU DO ГДЭБЦ", Kazan, street Cosmonauts, 57

II stage - from June 1 to June 23, 2017, acceptance of works - from June 1 to June 19, 2017 from 9.00-16.00 to the address of the MBU DO City Children’s Ecological and Biological Center, Kazan, Kosmonavtov Str.57.

At the second stage of the contest, students of summer camps are invited to organize educative leisure for students in the summer. The best works on the results of the two stages of the contest will be exhibited at the August meetings of teachers.
