Holiday “Ecodvor” to unite Kazan citizens to improve native city

Residents of Kazan can take part in the all-Russian project “Ecodvor” (Eco-yard) http: //www.myecodvor.rf. The ecological holiday is aimed at forming a community of residents who are ready to continuously promote the practice of separate waste collection in their yards and cities. Also, the residents of St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Saransk, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Moscow and Moscow regioncan join the project.
The organizers planned interactive events: environmental master classes for children and adults, a neighbour’s dinner, “Darmarka” (exchange of unwanted things to prolong their life cycle), “Knigovorot” (booksexchange), etc. The central event of the project will be the Ecodvor holidays, which residents will prepare and conduct in their yards independently or with the help of regional coordinators, from April to June 2017. The key activity of the holiday is the collection of waste from residents for recycling, education about the benefits of separate waste collection, involving neighbours in the daily practice of separate collection.
To organize a holiday “Ecodvor” in your yard, you need to register on www.myecodvor.rf. After that, all participants will be trained in the School of Ecodvor, where they will get knowledge about the practice of smart waste management, learn how to organize events independently and involve their neighbours in order to work together with them to systematically introduce separate waste collection.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
