“Care of environment begins with planting of a tree, picking up a wrapper, making a bird feeder”. Eco-lesson for kids of kindergarten No. 212 of Kazan.

An interactive event on the environment protection was held today in kindergarten No. 212 of Kazan. Helena Gilmizyanova, leading specialist of the department of environmental education and interaction with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, addressed the children with a welcoming speech. “We can not live without clean air, clean water, greenery. Natural objects play an important role in our life, therefore they require care. The environment begins with the planting of a tree, picking up of a wrapper, making a bird feeder. Let’s preserve our native nature beautiful and unique”, – the expert of the Ministry of Ecology noted the important mission of each person in the environmentprotection.

During the eco-lesson the children showed their knowledge in the field of ecology. Kids from the senior group felt like be real scientists-researchers. Together with the kindergarten teacher Natalia Zaripova, they conducted experiments and observations in an improvised ecological laboratory. Using various means at hand, they studied whether it is possible to catch, see, hear, and feel the air. Kids the middle group made eco-walks in the forest zone of Yudino. A walk in the open air was filled with unpleasant surprises. On the territory of the forestthey discovered garbage dumps, broken trees, clogged springs. The children, together with the teacherGuzelSamigullina, prevented environmental violations and secured environmental signs in prominent places.

Activities aimed at the environmental education of preschool children in kindergarten No. 212 in Kazan are held regularly. The children take part in annual clean-ups, plant flowers and trees, make feeders and starling houses, collect waste paper. “Ecological education in thekindergarten is conducted in cooperation with parents. They are active assistants in various environmental activities. Only through joint efforts we can instill in children a love of nature”, – said the head of the kindergarten, FiraAbdullina.
