“Nature and man: friends or enemies?”. Questions of the relationship between man and nature were discussed by students of the secondary school No. 1 of the Spassk District during an open environmental lesson. The educational event for the children was conducted by the teachers of the school together with the head of the district KamilNugaev, the head of the territorial administration of the Federal Property Management Agency in the Republic of Tatarstan GulnaraSergeeva, and the specialists of the Volga-Kama territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. On the lesson the children showed their knowledge in the field of the environment and felt like real environmental experts. For discussion, very serious environmental issues were raised: How are nature and man interconnected? What benefit does nature bring? Why humanscan not do without nature? Despite the young age, schoolchildren adequately answered questions. “Nature and man are very closely related. Nature satisfies human needs for food, water, air, without which people can not live. Droughts and crop failures, even for modern mankind, constitute a problem, and for people of past centuries they were a real disaster. Natural resources have a huge impact on the economic development of mankind. The economy of many countries and the lives of millions of people today depend on the availability of natural resources. Today, in the sphere of their productive activity, people use almost all existing natural resources – earth interior, rocks, upper soil layers, water reserves, forests, and even air. Such “interference” in natural processes established for hundreds of thousands of years can lead and often lead to catastrophes, which are usually called ecological disasters. For example, drying up of rivers and lakes or global pollution of the environment as a result of accidents on various technical equipment,” – shared their environmental knowledge schoolchildren. Inspectors of the Volga-Kama TA noted the high level of knowledge of the kids and noted: “With such knowledgeable growing generation, there is a hope that current environmental issues will be resolved”.
