Theemblem of the Year of Ecology has been installed on Mount Elbrus, 5642 meters.
The ascent of the employees of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Kabardino-Balkaria launched the year of ecology in the republic. A similar action is planned to be repeated to the “Day of Environmentalist”. The purpose of the action is to attract public attention to the issues of conservation and rational use of unique nature of the region and to increase the ecological awareness of people.
Mount Elbrus is a unique natural object. The highest point of the country is a part of the national park “Elbrus”, considered the most high-mountainous protected area in Russia.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
During a survey of the territory of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, inspectors from the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded violations of environmental legislation.
