Students of the Novosheshminsk Gymnasium showed their creative abilities during an open ecological lesson. For 45 minutes they became architects, designers, artists, gardeners, environmentalists, economists. All students excellently and successfully coped with their roles – collectively created models of the project to improve the embankmentzone. “Banks of the river Sheshma can be beautifully and comfortably landscaped. The recreation area provides for cozyarbors and benches, original flower beds and shrub plants, swings, towers and sandpitsfor children, bike paths, turnstiles, volleyball courtsfor athletes. But the recreation area should be also considered from an ecological point of view. On the embankment, waste bins with separate garbage collection will be obligatory. Benches, gazebos, towers, swings will be made of wood as environmentally friendly material. Fountains with drinking spring water will be installed along the sidewalks. The recreation area on the bank of the Sheshma River can be considered safe and environmentally friendly”, – the Novoshoshminsk gymnasium students shared their ideas.
Guests of the lesson –RinatFasakhov, head of the Executive Committee of Novosheshminskdistrict and experts of the Volga-Kama territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted the high level of knowledge among the children. “Kids regard their place of residence as the value of nature. They seek to preserve the natural resources of their native land and improve the environment. Environmental projects of students can become the beginning of new architectural buildings in Novosheshminsk”, – noted environmentalists of the Volga-Kama TA.
