Nature of Tatarstan: uniqueness, condition, problems. Students of Leninogorsk school No. 2 ready to help in solving environmental problems.

“A conscious, careful, and unindifferentattitude to the nature of each person should be formed from a young age”, – so consider the inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

To attract the attention of the students of the Leninogorsk school No. 2 to environmental issues in the region, environmentalists conducted an educational event. The state of the republic water bodies, the rational use of natural resources, and the natureprotection – these serious environmental issues were brought to the discussion of the lesson. Together with schoolchildren, the problems of the natural environment were discussed by the employees of the RosSelkhozNadzor Administration in the Republic of Tatarstan, the chairman of the deputy commission for ecology IlyaMishin, and the deputy head of the municipal organisation“Leninogorsk”GulfiraRafikova.

As part of the environmental lesson, the schoolchildren not only learned something new about the ecological condition of the Republic of Tatarstan, but also offered their ideas in addressing the environmental issues in the area. “We can help nature in preserving its original appearance. Garbage collection, planting trees, making feeders, patronizing children in terms of environmental education will be the main environmental activities in our schoolfor this year”, – activists of the Leninogorsk school No.2 shared their environmental plans. The inspectors of the South-Eastern TA, in turn, offered to schoolchildren one of the ways to contribute to the environmentprotection. They demonstrated the unique mobile application “School Ecopatrol”. “With the help of this system, you can post notifications about places of unauthorized waste disposal and information on the facts of discharge of industrial and domestic sewage onto the terrain. Prompt receipt of reports on environmental violations will help to quickly eliminate existing problems in the environment”, the environmentalists said.
