Ecological education is the base of child’s upbringing. Nizhnekamsk schoolchildren took part in ECO-lesson.

“A person’s life is good when in harmony with nature!” – under this slogan, the employees of the Zakamsk Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an environmental lesson for kids of secondary school No.10 in Nizhnekamsk. Environmentalists touched upon the theme of ecological safety, preservation and study of biodiversity, coordination of environmental-naturalistic and nature protection measures, and also told about actions held under the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in Tatarstan. Also, videos were shown about the activities of the Ministry, which are aimed at the environmental education of the younger generation. “From early childhooda person must learn to appreciate all life on Earth. For effective implementation of ecological education of children, first of all, it is necessary to achieve unity and coherence in the activity of pedagogical collectives, parents, the entire social environment in the community, environmental education of the family and the public, involving them in the ecological education of children, because nature is equally necessary for all of us, and the key to success in its protecting is in the unity of action, the unity of the world view”, the environmentalists noted. The purpose of the event is to spread environmental knowledge among the younger generation, develop responsible attitude to natural and forest resources and environment, form an ecological outlook, and develop of a system of continuous environmental education and education in the Republic of Tatarstan.
