2 March 2017, Thursday

Ecological lesson was held today in the secondary school of the village of Malaya Yelga, Laishevsky district. The lesson was held by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan AyratSibagatullin and the head of the Laishevsky district Mikhail Afanasyev. The event was held within the framework of the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in the republic. Children prepared thoroughly for the eco-lesson. They performed the play about what the bad attitude towards nature can lead to -– a fairy tale about Shural and Su Anasa, who run far to the north, where the human foot never left a trace. Fortunately, people changed their minds and put in order the territory where fairy-tale characters lived, and promised to continue not to pollute it. “A fairy tale is inseparable from beauty... Thanks to it, a child learns the world not only with the mind, but also with the heart, and not only knows, but also responds to events and phenomena of the surrounding world, expresses its attitude towards good and evil. Ecological fairy tales develop in children a cognitive interest in nature”, noted the Minister of culture. He highly appreciated the creative work of students and encouraged them to protect naturein real life. According to him, there are more than 36,000 water bodies in Tatarstan and huge areas of forests. The minister said that these riches must be preserved, and he believes the children will successfully fulfill this mission.
