“Favourable environment and health – two inseparable concepts”.Physiciansheld eco-lessons for Bugulma schoolchildren

Today environmentalists and physicians conducted a lesson for schoolchildrenof Lyceum No.2 in Bugulma. The main topics of discussion were the issues of the relationship between ecology and human health. The first deputy minister of health of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Osipov and the chief doctor of the Bugulma central regional hospital Vladimir Gurov told about the influence of the state of the environment on the human health.

“A human can do without many things. However, it absolutely needs clean air, drinking water, and food. Abuse of nature can lead to many dangerous substancescoming into air and water, which appear in human organism sooner or later. Therefore, care of nature is the way to health”, representatives of the Ministry of Health explained to the lyceum students. The state of the environment in the Republic of Tatarstan and methods of regular monitoring and control were told by the inspector of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. “Environmentalists confidently keep their course for solving problems related to environmental protection. The largest industrial enterprises operate in accordance with modern environmental requirements”, environmentalists said.
