Today Kukmor schoolchildren learned how to preserve natural resources of native land on ECO-lesson.

The specialists of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan told to the schoolchildren of the Kukmor school No.3about care to nature, responsibility for preserving its wealth and beauty. The event was attended by the head of the district Sergey Dimitriev. “Environmental education must represent a holistic system that encompasses a person’s entire life. It also sets as its goal to form a mind based on the idea of ​​unity with nature”, – he said. The lesson was conducted as an interactive game. Ithelps to promote cognitive activity, deepen knowledge about native land and surrounding world, and form positive moral values. “Environmental education should start from the earliest childhood. Children are especially susceptible to the good, and inquisitive. At this age that we should lay down the moral foundations, develop a sense of beauty, the ability to see the beauty of nature. It is very important that at this age the child had an intelligent competent mentor, capable of developing the basics of ecological culture. Therefore, we try to conduct such eco-lessons, actions, classes on a regular basis”, the environmentalists noted. Let’s remind that in the comingdays the eco-lessons will be held in all Tatarstan schools and gymnasiums. Their goal is to spread environmental awareness among the younger generation of the republic, to foster a responsible attitude to natural resources and environment.
