IrekZinnurov: “Love for native land and care of natural wealth begins with oneself.”ECO-lesson in Arsk District.

Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation IrekZinnurov held an environmental lesson in the Arskdistrict. The event, timed to the launch of the Year of Ecology and Public Spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan, was held in the historical museum of Arsk“Zakazanie” for students of the Academy of Social Education. Telling about the biological diversity of the ecosystems of Tatarstan, the ex-water polo player emphasized the importance of developing the ecological awareness of citizens. “Love for our native land and a careful attitude to its natural wealth begins with ourselves”, IrekZinnurov stressed. “We should be more responsible, not litter when resting in nature, takecare of nature, including water resources. Everyone should remember that nature is our common home, and it depends on us how harmonious, pure, and beautiful it will be”. The deputy’s speech did not leave indifferent the young residents of Arsk, and after the lesson many of them shared their environmental initiatives and proposals.

The purpose of the events is tospread environmental knowledge among the younger generation of the republic, development of a responsible attitude to natural resources and the environment.
