Children collectives of Tatarstan can take part in IV Republican contest “Earth Breathing”

Applications for participation in the IV Republican contest “Earth Breathing” started. The contest is aimed at educating children and teenagers to take responsibility for preserving a life-friendly environment, attracting the attention of children and youth to nature-relatedissues. For participation are invited children’s clubs (clubs of associations, studios, etc.)at cultural and leisure institutions of the republic, age of participants from 7 to 16 years.

The competition is held in three stages:

1) Socio-cultural activities on environmental issues involving children’s clubs, held in cities and regions of the republic (February-April 2017).

2) Registration and submission to the Republican Center for the Development of Traditional Culture of an application from the children’s clubs of the city and district – participants of the first stage for further participation in the contest (June 2017). The application shall be accompanied by a Microsoft Power Point presentation on activities in the field of environmental protection, no more than 10 minutes.

3) Consideration of the submitted works by the jury and the determination of the winners in different age categoriees (7-12, 13-16 years) according to the following criteria:

- scope and significance of the work performed within the topic,

- number of participants,

- quality of the presentation of the club activities (photographs, published articles, reviews, posters, etc.).

The final of the contest will be held in September 2017 in the Sabinsk municipal district, where the winners of the third round will present their works.
