Tatarstan still leads. 1-st stage of “All-Russian nature reserve lesson” ended

Tatarstan continues to lead in the number of participants in the All-Russian project “Nature reserve lesson”. Over two months of work, more than 350,000 Russian schoolchildren took part in the action. The Republic of Tatarstan takes the first place by number of lessons conducted and the enrollment of schoolchildren – the lessons were held for 63,516 children. Chuvashia comes second with more than 17,000students, Novosibirskcomes third with more than 16,000 schoolchildren.

In Tatarstan, special attention is paid to environmental education and enlightenment. Annually “Lessons of cleanliness”, “Ecologylessons” and other activities, aimed at strengthening knowledge of the younger generation in environmental issues, are held.

 

By the numerous requests of teachers, volunteers, PA specialists, the opportunity to participate in the “All-Russian Nature Reserve Lesson” project is extended until the end of April. Also, on the web-site заповедныйурок.рф, a gratitude diploma will be available not only to the teacher who conducted the lesson, but also to schools and other institutions that have joined the project.

 

Let’s recall that the unique action started in Russia in the framework of the Year of specially protected nature areas. The project was developed by the Environmental Education Center“Reserves” under the Program of the “Movement of friends of protected islands” with the support of the Public Relations Committee of Moscow, GPBU “MosPriroda”, ANCO “Your nature”, as well as information support of the Russian Ministries of Natural Resources and Education.
