More than 3 million roubles –fines for violations of environmental laws. Northern Territorial Administration reported resultsfor 2016

Today, Deputy Minister of Ecology, Chief State Inspector on environmental protection in Tatarstan FayazShakirov acquainted with the results of work of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology. TheAdministration is responsibleforthe environmental safety, protection and use of natural resources in the Arsk, Atninsky, Baltasinsky, Kukmorsky districts. The results of work for 2016 were reported by the head of the Northern TARadikShagiakhmetov. Revealed 525 violations of environmental legislation, carried out 579 inspections, checked 105 enterprises and objects. The fines amounted to more than 3.6 million roubles. To control the state of waste and natural waters, 1869laboratory analyses wereconducted. In 2016, 62 violations were revealedon the issue of waste production and consumption, issued 58 resolutions on bringing the offenders to administrative responsibility in the amount of 745 thousand roubles. “One of the main objectives of this year isidentification and inclusioninto the state registerof thefacilities whichmakea negative environmental impact,” – said the Chief state inspector on the environment protection FayazShakirov. He instructed to intensify efforts to detect and prevent violations of water protection legislation, and also reminded that before March 1 small and medium enterprises must submit reports on formation, use, neutralization and disposal of waste resulted from economic and other activities.
