FaridAbdulganiyev: “In the Year of Ecology in collaboration with the Russian Geographical society we prepare new projects with active involvement of Tatarstan people”.

Combining efforts in environmentprotection. This decision was made today at the meeting in Moscow attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan FaridAbdulganiyev, executive director of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Geographical Society”ArtyomManukyan, and chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan Dmitry Shiller. Many large-scale projects with the active involvement of citizensare planned for the Year of Ecology and public spaces in Tatarstan. They discussed the possibilities for organizing eco-cognitive routes in protected areas, conducting environmental education classes with the participants of the activities in the reserves.

Participants of the meetinginformed that the previously conducted joint activities will be continued this year. One of the largest campaigns, “Ponds cleaning day” will be held in all cities and districts of the republic.

The next working meeting for detailed discussion of the plans will be held in Kazan. In the near future ArtyomManukyan is going to visit the capital of Tatarstan, where he will be presented the main directions of activity of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, in particular, work of the republican public environmental desk, which includes 10 channels.
