From 15 to 19 April 2017, Moscow will host the final of the Russian National Junior Water Contest-2017. The participants can be high school students, who present projects in the field of natural and social sciences. The prerequisite is the use of standard and innovative research techniques and methodologies for experiments, monitoring and reporting the results.
The Russian National Junior Water Contest 2017 is held in three levels:
- Municipal;
- Regional (in Tatarstan, the organizer is the Institute of Ecology and Mineral of AS of RT – http://ipen-anrt.ru/content/);
- All-Russian.
The contest program includes the nominations:
- “International” (the winner will represent Russia at the Stockholm Junior Water Contest);
- “Development of water management industry in Russia”;
- “Best innovative project”;
- “Protection and restoration of water resources in the basin of the Volga named after prof. V.V. Naydenko”;
- “Water and climate”;
- “Water and world”;
- “Young teacher – the best project leader”;
- Nomination and Award of the Chairman of the National Nomination Committee;
- “Seas and oceans”;
- “The best teacher –research supervisor of the project”;
- “For the use of satellite monitoring techniques in water protection and restoration projects”;
- Nomination and Award of the Federal Agency for Water Resources;
- “Water and atom”;
- “Cost-effectiveness of the project in the field of protection and restoration of water resources”;
- “Water and energy”;
- “Beginners journalists write about the water of Russia”.
The electronic version of the project shall be e-mailed to the Contest organizer no later than March 1, 2017.
