Yekaterinburg to host All-Russian Youth Scientific and Practical Conference “Issues of subsoil use”

XI All-Russian Youth Scientific and Practical Conference “Issues of subsoil use” will be held on 8-10 February in Yekaterinburg. The event is organized by the Institute of Mining. The conference aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue in the field of subsoil use to create breakthrough technologies and become a platform for the training of young scientists and students.

Main topics of the conference:

• Problems of open, underground, and combined geotechnologies

• Transport systems if quarries and geotechnics

• Geophysics

• Geoinformatics

• Geomechanics and geodynamics

• Economic and environmental issues of subsoil use

• Quality management of mineral resources

• Destruction of rocks

• Recycling of technological waste

The conference will include:

1. School for young scientists.

- Scientific lectures on mineral resources

- Lectures on innovation

2. Competition of the best reports.

The articles written by the participants of the conference will be published in the online periodic scientific journal “Issues of subsoil use”. The publication is included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
