Young nature researchers from Volga republics and regions to take part in scientific ecological conference named after A.M.Terentev

XXIII Volga scientific ecological schoolconference named after A.M.Terentyevwill be held in Kazan. The event will be held on February 4-5 in the recreational and educational center“Duslyk” (railroad passDerbyshki,PribolnichnayaStr., 15). The conference will be attended by students of grades 8-11 who have passed the competitive selection of abstracts. The conference is carried out on 8 sections:

-agroecology;

-bioindication and biomonitoring;

- general ecology;

- protection and rational use of water resources (regional stage of the Russian Junior Water Contest);

-practical environmental activities.

- industrial and chemical ecology;

- conservation of biological diversity;

-ecology of urban territories;

During the conference the regional stage of the Russian Junior Water Contest in the Republic of Tatarstanwill be held.

The event is held annually and is aimed at the development of scientific research and practical environmental activities of school students, formation of a responsible attitude towards natural resources. Organizers are the RT Ministry of Education and Science together with the Institute of Ecology and Mineral Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of RT.
