The dialogue hascome off. Representatives of the initiative group and environmentalists gathered today at the round table

Members of the work group expressed their ideas to prepare proposals for the project of development of the coastal territories of Kuibyshev reservoir near the village Zaymische ofZelenodolsk district. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The public initiative group expressed gratitude to the leaders of the republic for the opportunity to find a solution for the future use of this territory, taking into account the people opinion. The social activists introduced the concept of development of the territory which included the beach area, camping grounds, walkways, bicycle paths, lawns with trees and shrubs, organization of amateur and sports fishing. The planned infrastructure of the territory provides construction of thebuilding which willcontain administrative offices, policedivision, lifeguardspost, seasonal trading areas, bio-toilets, sports equipment rental shops. The concept will be discussed by the work group. The opinion was voiced today by scientists, experts of the Tourism Committee, the heads of various sports federations, etc. As was stressed at the meeting, the development projects of coastal area of the Kuibyshev reservoir near the village Zaymischeof Zelenodolsk district would be adopted and implemented taking into account the opinions of ecologists, scientists, all members of the workgroup, the initiative group, which includes residents of nearby villages, environmentalists, gardeners and all interested individuals and organizations.

The workgroup consists of: the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan FaridAbdulganiyev, head of RosPrirodNadzor in RT FaritKhairutdinov, representatives of the Office for the Protection and Use of wildlife of RT, the Office of Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography in RT, the executive committees of Kazan andZelenodolsk, the Ministry of land and property relations of RT, the Ministry of forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of youth and sports of RT, Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism, the Kazan (Volga) Federal University, the State research Institute of lake and riversfish industry named after L.S. Berg, Volga-Kama biosphere reserve, the Russian Geographical Society in RT, Sailing Federation ofRT, Federation of waterskiing of RT, Federation of underwater sportsof RT, publicinitiative group.
