“Year of Ecology”, social ad contest in Moscow

Office of natural areas of the North-East Administrative District and Sokolnikithe state budget environmental agency “MosPriroda” invites schoolchildren and preschool children to participate in the All-Russian contest of social advertising “Year of Ecology”. The contest is aimed at attracting public attention to the current environmental problems, problems relatedto nature, pollution and impacts of contaminants.

Creativitycompetition is conducted in the following categories:

- Poster (work on a sheet A1-A3);

- Leaflet (work on a sheet A5 or smaller);

- Booklet (work on A4, folded in half in the form of a book);

- Promotional video (short film, interview, performance, animated film of no longer than 3 minutes).

The participants should prepare their creative works for one or more subjects from any season:

1. Winter (works are accepted until 28 February 2017)

- The International Energy Saving Day (Why do we need to save electricity?);

- World Day of Reserves (problem of preservation, development, and creation of new protected areas in Russia).

2. Spring (works are accepted from 1 March to 31 May 2017)

- Protect forests from fire! (Spring burns, safety rules in the forest);

- Water Day (watersaving, problem of fresh water pollution);

- Earth Day (any environmental problems and their solutions, interaction between man and nature).

3. Summer (works are accepted from 1 June to 31 August 2017)

- Waste recycling (problem ofexcess garbage, ways to solve this problem in the family, school, city, country);

- Waste re-use(ideas on the re-use of unnecessary things);

- Free theme (participant can choose and develop any environmental problems ofinterest).

The materials should be submitted to the organizing committee by e-mail ekopros-svao@mail.ru marked “Year of Ecology” contest”.Works are accepted according to seasons.
