Eco-rehabilitation project ofLebyazhye lake systemdiscussedin Ministry of Ecology of RT

Theeco-rehabilitationproject of the Lebyazhye lake systemwas discussed on the expanded scientific and technical council of the Ministry of Ecology of RT chaired by the Deputy Minister of Ecology Rustem Kamalov. The meeting was attended by the RT presidential aide Natalia Fishman, Chairman of the Committee of improvements of the Kazan Executive Committee Igor Kulyazhev.

Environmentalists, geologists, hydrogeologists, scientists, representatives of universities spoke about the work done and developed a plan for future activitieswith consideration of all the comments. The full restoration of the unique nature object will increase the water surface of the lakes from 4.2 hectares to 36 hectares and improve the overall ecological situation on the territory of the Grand Kazan, experts said.
