ECO-lesson was held today in the Kazankindergarten No.279. The event was held by Elena Gilmizyanova,leading specialist of the department of environmental education and relations with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology of RT. “Preschool children are more emotional, sensitive, and receptive. That is why the lessonis carried out in an interactive manner. Our task is to explain the importance of cherishing, protection, and preservation of nature,”– she said. Ecology lesson was held in the form of theatrical performance revealing the problem of relationship between man and nature. Together with the characters of “Gingerbread Man” pupils of the kindergarten learned how peoplecan adversely affect the environment without considering the consequences. The event was followed by a show of clothes made of recycled materials. “Eco-fashion sparked a very vivid interest in children. Together with their parents they were creating clothes of paper, disposable tableware, plastic bags, plastic bottles. Compared to previous year, this time the number of pieces increased more than twice”, – said the head of the kindergarten Olga Fedotova. Eco-lessons are held by employees of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources RT on a regular base. They are aimed at developing environmental consciousness which manifests itself in emotional and positive attitude to nature and the world around.
