More than a million air analyses for the year. The Kama Territorial Department reported results of activities for 2016

Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan FaridAbdulganiyevreviewed the results of activity for 2016 of Zakamsky TD ofthe Ministry of Ecology. The departmentcarried out activities on environmental safety, protection and use of natural resources in the territory of Nizhnekamsk, Zainsk, and Sarmanovo. The results were reported by the Head of Territorial Administration Alexey Lobanov.

650 environmental violations were found by inspectors ofZakamskyTerritorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2016. 635 of them have been eliminated. The total amount of fines amounted to more than 6 million roubles. 27 protocols on administrative offense were made up for unauthorized occupation of the water body, 4 of them for legal entities. 65 reports on administrative violations were made up for failure to comply with the conditions for ensuring public access to water bodies and public foreshore.

The ZakamskyTerritorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan continuously monitors the air quality. There are 5 points of automated control system. 1,108,131 analyses were made for 2016. Minister FaridAbdulganiyev ordered to intensify efforts on the atmospheric air monitoring, in particular, to increase the number of on-site inspections with the use of a mobile laboratory Ministry of Ecology. The head of the Ministry of Ecologyalso ordered to intensify activities to prevent illegal extraction on the water. He recalled that this year every watercraftextracting common minerals in the water must be connected to a single state information system of the Republic of Tatarstan by the satellite navigation equipment GLONASS or GLONASS/GPS.
