“Water is our life!” was the motto of interactive lesson held by ecologists

Kids ofPetrechinsky kindergarten “Kaenkay”made a trip to ECO-magic land. Lesson themed“Water is our life”was held by Julia Saferova, the leading specialist of the department of environmental education and interaction with civil organizations of the Ministry of Ecology of RT. She told the kids about the importance of water in human life, the necessity of respect for the resources, its importance for the environment and social development, and sustaining life on our planet. “Water plays an important role in human life. Unfortunately, many believe water resources inexhaustible. It is important to teach children a safe and economical use, to form the belief that beauty and natureare priceless and needprotection,” – said Julia Saferova. The interactive event included theatrical performance and practical lesson. Kids with the help of teachers conducted some experiments to study the physical properties of water (colour, smell, taste). Ecology classes are held by specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstanon a regular basis. Their goal is to spread environmental awareness among the younger generation of the republic and develop a responsible attitude towards natural resources and environment.
