Nurminsk school childrenstarted Year of Ecology with good deed

In Nurminsk school of Baltasinsky district of Tatarstanfinishedthe ecology campaign “Birdfeeder”, organized by members of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. It started at the beginning of the year and involved primary school children and their parents into making birdfeeders of different materials like wooden boards, plastic bottles, cardboard. The best works were evaluated in three categories:

- “Most sturdy feeder”

- “Most original feeder”

- “Feeder from waste material”.

The feeders werehung nearby the school so that kids were able to observe and care for the birds.

The action “Birdfeeder” is held annually. It is aimed at building habits for feeding birds and general idea of ​​wintering birds. “Ecology education starts in childhood, so students should be able to take care of the environment beginning fromyoung age,” –was noted by the environmentalists of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
