Tatarstan filmmakers invited to participate in All-Russian eco-festival “Meridian of Hope”

         Professional film-makersand beginners, children’s and youth film studios, environmentalists, students, television journalists –all those who are concerned about environmental issues can take part in the seventh All-Russian Eco Film Festival “Meridian of Hope”. The event will be held in April in St. Petersburg. To show the films of participants, the negotiations are currently held with representatives of the convention and exhibition center“ExpoForum”, where two art exhibitionsof works on environmental issues created by known Petersburg artistsare planned. Separately, it is planned to hold the Day of Children’s Russian cinema. The Film Festival has already brought together filmmakers from different regions of Russia who make films on environmental issues.

The “Meridian of Hope” aims to draw attention to the environmental issues of our country and support filmmakers from regions. More information on the contest is available on the festival website: meridian-hope.ru. Applications for participation in the contest are accepted until March 15, 2017.

The festival is established by the Union of Cinematographers of St. Petersburg and the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources.
