Young scientists are invited to participate in conference “Current problems of the Volga basin”

The VI Youth Conference “Current problems of ecology of the Volga basin” will be held in Togliattion 15-16March. Young scientists and specialists from Russia and abroad not older than 35 y.o. are invited to participate. The conference topics cover the areasas follows: - Biodiversity and ecology of species, invasive species and their role in ecosystems, characteristics of formation and dynamics of development of communities of organisms in ecosystems; - Biogeography of organisms and communities; - Ecological modelling of the dynamics of populations and communities in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems; - Taxonomy of organisms and its connection with the peculiarities of the biology and ecology of different taxons of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems; - Hydrology and hydrochemistry of aquatic ecosystems; - Environmental monitoring and nature protection; - Protected areas and environmental protection. The conference will include oral presentations, workshops, round tables.
