Young scientists are invited to participate in conference “Current problems of the Volga basin”

The VI Youth Conference “Current problems of ecology of the Volga basin” will be held in Togliattion 15-16March. Young scientists and specialists from Russia and abroad not older than 35 y.o. are invited to participate.
The conference topics cover the areasas follows:
- Biodiversity and ecology of species, invasive species and their role in ecosystems, characteristics of formation and dynamics of development of communities of organisms in ecosystems;
- Biogeography of organisms and communities;
- Ecological modelling of the dynamics of populations and communities in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems;
- Taxonomy of organisms and its connection with the peculiarities of the biology and ecology of different taxons of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems;
- Hydrology and hydrochemistry of aquatic ecosystems;
- Environmental monitoring and nature protection;
- Protected areas and environmental protection.
The conference will include oral presentations, workshops, round tables.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
