Childrenfromkindergarten #143 inthecityofKazan made a trip to “The Winter ECOfairy-tale”. Aninteractive lesson for children was given by Yulia Safyorova, a lead specialist of the Environmental Education and Cooperation with Civic Organizations Department in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.“Ecologyfairy-tales develop cultural behaviour and careful attitude to living beings, develop cognitive interest to nature. Themostimportantinthefairy-talesforlittle listeners is to learn the problems of the environment from the mouths of the inhabitants themselves, to hear their voice. Inthisrespect, the importanceofecologyfairy-tales, whereanimalsandherbs become animated and empathize with any changes in nature and their routine life, is exceptional. For a child to achieve understanding of nature, it is not enough to give concrete information on it, it is necessary to teach to listen to it, empathize with it, rejoice in it, teach to see the beautiful. Itistheseskillsthatenrichchild’ssouland inner world, make them perceive the environment deeper, improve their intelligence and culture. That’s why while working with children we pay special attention to ecology fairy-tales enabling the pre-schoolers to become familiar with nature, with the world around them, to develop their affection, kind-heartedness, creative work, a skill to note beautiful things in the routine life.Ecology fairy-tales are the easiest way to impart knowledge on natural phenomena, on animals, herbs and the environment. That’s why the objectives of our work with pre-schoolers in this respect have come to include training children’s responsible and benevolent attitude to nature, empathizing with the living being,” Yulia Safyorova told. ECOlessonsaregivenby officers ofthe Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on a regular basis. Theirobjectiveisto spread ecological knowledge among the younger generation of the republic, to develop responsible attitude to natural resources and the environment.
