Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev took part in the conference call, which took place in the video mode. Conference devoted to the preparation of the federal project "Ecology of Russia" party "United Russia" held a State Duma deputy Sergei Petrov of Russia. Project "Ecology of Russia" is being implemented in 57 Russian regions, including Tatarstan. The purpose of the project: the creation of an integrated approach to work to improve the quality of the environment and ecological conditions of human life, the formation of a sustainable ecologically oriented model of economic development and to promote the investment attractiveness of the Russian Federation.
Project objectives:
- Establishment of an independent national environmental-economic ranking of territories and economic entities.
- Raising the international prestige of Russia as a country that plays a leading role in maintaining global environmental public goods, protect the natural environment, creating a safe and comfortable living environment, work and leisure of Russian citizens.
- Promote the development of regional programs of socio-economic development within the overall strategy of the Party, taking into account current priorities for improving energy efficiency and reducing the environmental capacity of the economy, improving the quality of life of citizens.
- Promote the improvement of the legal framework in the field of ecology and environmental management, and the development of environmental responsibility standards.
- Encouraging economic operators to ecologically balanced behavior, promotion of eco-economic mechanisms of formation of competitive industries in Russia, the creation of effective environmental sector. The creation of additional jobs in the environmental sector.
