Bugulma feed mill and criminal case for illegal extraction of common minerals. What’s the connection?

Thousand KAMAZ of clay – that is how much “black diggers” havestolen from the state. The first offence on the territory of rural settlement Berezovsky ofBugulmadistrict of the RT was found by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology ofTatarstan on July 6. For unlicensed subsoil use “Reproduct” LLCpaid a fine of 800 thousand rubles. But this has not stopped it. Repeated offence, in 100 meters from the first one, was found on July 25. And again, “Reproduct” LLC. Repeatedoffenceof Art. 7.3,part 1,of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation entaileda fine of 800 thousand rubles. In a result of the proceedings it was found that the Bugulmafeed mill decided to build hangars for storing its products. And decided not to go far to get building materials, instead, to use common minerals illegally. As a result, hectares of agricultural land became unsuitable for use. Use of machinery resulted in a mechanical disturbance of soils and its chemical pollution. It changedtheoriginal state of natural and territorial complexand destroyed land cover. The damage to nature was estimated at 6 million rubles.

For the above-mentioned offences the Investigation Department of the city Bugulmaof the Investigative body of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the RT issued the order to institute criminal proceedings and its production under Article 246 of the Criminal Code “Violation of the environmental protection rules duringworks”.
