Meeting of environmentalists to be held tomorrow in Moscow. Telethon devoted to preparation for the Year of Ecology – 2017
The first telethon devoted to the Year of Ecology in Russia will be held tomorrow. Environmentalists have developed the concept of dialogue between the regions. Participants will discuss environmental issues, introduction of “green technologies”, creating the conditions for a healthy lifestyle, raising environmental awareness, and issues of ecological world outlook formation. The initiator and organizer of the event is the International environmental movement “Living Planet” with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia, Russia’s RosPrirodNadzor environmental watchdog, and the Public Chamber of Russia. The event will be held on December 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the International multimedia press-center of the International News Agency “Russia today”. It is also planned to discuss construction of modern waste incineration plants, prospects for the development of the first public environmental television Skyleaf. The program will also include presentation of the Olympic Glory Museum and the Peoples’ Friendship Museum in Sochi Olympic Park, issues of preparations to the III International ecological expedition to the North Pole and the first East-Siberian Environmental Forum Krasnoyarsk-Khatanga. As a part of the telethon, the International Environmental Exhibition “Global Initiative of International Ecologists” will be held. The best Russian companies recognized for the quality of their products will be awarded with a major environmental prize – Global Eco Brand-2016 and environmental certificate.
