Students, entrepreneurs, and active citizens - all who are not indifferent to the nature protection matters met today at the Ministry of Ecology. The Open House was held today on the territory of the entire Republic. Questions and suggestions of the citizens of Tatarstan were heard out today by ecological specialists of all the territorial departments under the Ministry of Ecology. "The majority of ecological cases are solved 'in hot pursuit' owing to quick addresses of citizens", acknowledged the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev. - "We are maximally open to the public. The 'Open House' allows not only to hear out the citizens of our Republic, but also to solve the hot-burning problems as soon as possible. We need to know what bothers the citizens of Tatarstan when it comes to ecology. I can assure you that owing to the active position of the citizens, the majority of nature protection cases are solved 'in hot pursuit'. The year is not over yet, but we are already ahead of the last-year results with regard to the recovery of penalties, we have so far collected about 35 million rubles. Of course, it means enhanced work of inspectors and public inspectors, but at the same time it is important to understand the huge importance of timely and quick detection of violations, where our citizens help us". The work on shore protection, obtainment of the license for the extraction of common mineral resources, assistance in the development of nature protection programs, reports of small and medium business entities, construction of purification facilities, the rules for the obtainment of water use permission - the citizens of Tatarstan found answers today to these and many other questions. During the Open House, students of Almetyevsk and Naberezhnye Chelny found out all the details of the work of Specialized inspections of analytical control under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Fellow workers of the laboratories arranged a tour around the departments for analysis of industrial emissions and air, water and soil analyses, as well as physical and chemical analytical methods, biological and supervisory control. Fellow workers of the inspections told about sampling and analysis of samples of natural and sewage waters, soil, air and industrial emissions, they familiarized with physical and chemical analytical methods, biotesting and hydrobiological tests.
