Ecological specialists and students of the Kazan Veterinary Academy held the nature protection campaign today

The ecological campaign "Help animals" was held today at the Children's Ecological and Biological Center in Kazan. It was held by the Leading specialist of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elena Gilmizyanova, and students of the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine for the pupils of Remedial Secondary School n.a. Lastochkina. Correct outdoor behavior, help to animals, personal contribution of each and every one in the nature protection cause - all these topics were absorbed by children while playing and during various contests and quizzes. A student of the Veterinary Academy, a participant of the contest "A beauty of the student community of Tatarstan", Victoria Romanova, told the children about the importance of taking care of birds and stray pets. "For us, the future vets, such campaigns have become a good tradition. Taking care of nature, plants, birds and animals - all of that should be instilled from the early childhood. This does not only develop culture, but also promotes kindness. If it's not us, who will help animals?". "We pay much attention to the large-scale ecology-oriented events, since they promote involvement of children and adolescents in the study of natural, historical and cultural heritage of the Republic, foster careful attitude to nature, development of civil responsibility and ecological culture. Charity work has become a traditional and integral part of our daily activities. It is very important to show the younger generation that nature protection and preservation of resources are in their hands", acknowledged Elena Gilmizyanova. Pupils of the Boarding School told about their experience on creation of birdhouses and feeding tables for birds. It should be noted that they are active participants and frequent winners of the ecological and educational campaign on creation of birdhouses "Grackles have come".
