The rules for the use of the official emblem for the Year of Ecology in the Russian Federation have been approved of

Both the document and the logo in the vector formal are placed in the special section on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia (http://www.mnr.gov.ru/activities/list.php?part=1921), as it is reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. Earlier, the Special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for nature protection activity, ecology and transportation, the Chairperson of the Steering Committee for holding of the Year of Ecology in Russia, Sergey Ivanov, adopted a unified brand for the corresponding federal and regional activities. The emblem for the Year of Ecology was developed by the Stellar Agency free of charge by the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. According to the Head of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Sergey Donskoy, the year 2017 was announced the Year of Ecology and at the same time the Year of Specially Protected Natural Territories, so the emblem represents wealth, uniqueness of natural objects and the efforts concerning environmental protection on the territory of Russia.
