Ecological specialists, active citizens of Kazan and those who care cleaned before winter the territory adjacent to the Victory Park

A large-scale cleaning campaign was held today in Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan on the territory adjacent to the Victory Park.Inspectors of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, public inspectors, representatives of administrations of Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan, active participants of the Youth Ecological Movement "BUDETCHISTO", students, fellow workers of companies, establishments and organizations, as well as those who care took active part in the cleaning campaign. "The Victory Park is an truly unique phenomenon. A combination in one place of various architectural, landscape and aesthetic solutions have turned the Victory Park over the last years into the favorite place of citizens. And the adjacent territory of such a popular place should always be kept in the proper sanitary state. So, today we decided to join the efforts and clean the territory before it becomes cold", acknowledged ecological specialists. "We go on with Saturday work campaigns because, first of all, it is a very good tradition, and, secondly, thanks to them we build up our activity together with the population, and, thus, the effect also increases - we see more and more clean places around the city", told the representatives of Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts of Kazan.All in all, more than 120 people took part in the park-cleaning campaign, and 10 truck loads of litter were removed. Moreover, the specialists of the Central Specialized Laboratory of Analytical Control drew the samples of sewage and natural waters in the unnamed lake in the Victory Park. The aim of the event is to bring the territory of the Republic on the threshold of cold weather into compliance with the requirements of ecological and sanitary & epidemiological safety of the population.   Press Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan
