An ecological and educational meeting was held at a boarding school

An ecological and educational discussion was held today for the pupils of Kazan correctional secondary boarding school of the I-II type n.a. Elizaveta Guryevna Lastochkina. The meeting was held within the framework of the events devoted to the 10th anniversary of the Republican Charity Council. The campaign was held by the leading specialist of the Department of Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Elena Gilmizyanova. She told the pupils about the Ministry's activity aimed at development of the youth ecological movement in the Republic of Tatarstan, about carried out nature protection campaigns and implemented ecological and educational projects. Moreover, Elena Gilmizyanova announced the start of a contest among pupils of the boarding school for the best crafts from natural materials. The results will be summarized in March 2017. "Pupils are active participants of the ecological events carried out by the Ministry of Ecology. For instance, the pupils present their pieces of work during the ecological and educational campaign "Grackles have come", and year after year they win it", she acknowledged.  The event is held to promote the idea of noble deeds, since it is an important resource for solution of social problems of the local community, as well as to enhance civil activity of the population.
