The campaign on collection of waste and waste paper was held today on the premises of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan

Today, the Ministry for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a campaign for collection of waste paper, PE containers and other waste. "Such campaigns should be held in every city, district, and village of Tatarstan, which will allow to attract attention of the citizens of Tatarstan to the problems of ecology and recycling of raw materials", acknowledged ecological specialists. The campaign was also held on the premises of the managing company of Privolzhsky district (17 Ippodromnaya str.). The citizens of Kazan were also able to bring other waste, for instance rags, PE, plastic fuel cans, containers from household chemicals and etc. All the collected materials will be taken for recycling. As a reminder, there are 4 permanent stations for collection of recyclable materials, where the citizens can bring waste for recycling: on the intersection of Musina and Chuykova streets, on Energetikov, Mavlyutova and Fuchika streets. The citizens who bring recyclable materials will receive remuneration - 4 rubles for 1 kg of carton, 3 rubles for 1 kg of waste paper, 12 rubles for 1 kg of PET bottles, and 35 rubles for 1 kg of aluminum cans.

Another similar campaign on collection of recyclable materials was held yesterday at the parking lot of the Executive Committee of Kazan, as well as at the parking lot of the Committee of the Housing and Utility Service. By joint efforts, more than 4 tons of waste paper have been collected.
