Participants of the VI Republican Forum of Young Citizens of Tatarstan visited the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic

A round table was held today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on the "Ecological education". The event was held within the framework of the VI Republican Forum of Young Citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan. Head of the Department for the Information and Analytical Activity of the Ministry of Ecology, Inessa Yarullina, addressed everyone with a welcoming word. "Today's eco-educational work of the Ministry is aimed both at the smallest children and at the students of secondary special and higher educational establishments; these events are held while playing, as well as in the form of fairy-tales, musical, theatrical performances, labor landing troops, flashmobs, class hours, eco-lessons. The "School eco-patrol" project was elaborated and successfully implemented by the Ministry for pupils. Young adults - students - can become volunteers of public ecological organizations and join the ranks of public inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology", she acknowledged. Head of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology Damir Valiullin told about the activity and work of the Ministry on support of socially oriented non-commercial organizations. Within the framework of the section, the children presented their ecological projects: creation of crafts from recyclable materials, information sharing with the population on ecological campaigns, as well as beautification of Lebyazhye Lake. The Forum of young citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan aims at development of public activity of young citizens, enhancement and improvement of the mechanism for the support of children's organizations, attraction of public and state's attention to the solution of the problems of children and youth. Participants of the Forum include 200 pupils - active participants, leaders and heads of children's organizations from municipal units of the Republic of Tatarstan. The work is organized in 10 main sections: "Culture and creative development of adolescents", "Healthy lifestyle, children's sports and tourism", "First steps in entrepreneurship", "Children's mass media", "Ecological education", "Patriotic education, formation of civic awareness and preservation of national identity of the young generation", "Legal protection of children and youth", "Social protection and voluntary activity", "Science and education", "Development of children's movement".
