The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, chairperson of the Board of Directors of Yadran-Oil CJSC Irek Salikhov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev and other honorable guests participated in the solemn ceremony. The Director for the Operative management of the network of gas-filling stations "Shell" made a tour for the delegation. He told that the first gas-filling station "Shell" in Tatarstan was built by the company's partner, Yadran-Oil CJSC, and it was placed under Shell's management a week ago. Four pumps mean eight filling posts equipped in compliance with the latest requirements to the ecological and fire safety. Great attention was paid also to the fuel quality. All the fuel complies with the ecological Euro-5 class. At this gas-filling station we use the fuel produced by the oil refinery plant "TANEKO", and in the nearest future we believe that all the types of the fuel distributed at gas-filling stations of the Republic of Tatartan will be purchased only from local manufacturers", acknowledged Vitaly Maslov.
The Shell Corporate Group together with the Tatar partner Yadran-Oil plan to open 55 gas-filling stations in the Republic by 2020. Of those 45 will be owned by Yadran-Oil, and 10 - by the international Corporate Group. First five gas-filling stations are planned in Kazan (three are currently operating), and two more will open in Naberezhnye Chelny by the end of the year.
