"A sound mind in a sound body!" Today, ecological specialists took active part in the "Cross of nations-2016"

An example of healthy life style and active recreation is set today by fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the Minister Farid Abdulganiev who take active part in the "Cross of nations-2016". Traditional races took place at the site adjacent to the Central Stadium and the Kazan Circus (the Millennium Place).More than 20 thousand of citizens of Kazan including pupils of secondary schools and children's and youth sports schools, students of higher and secondary social educational institutions, active sportsmen, sports veterans and workers of state and public organizations took part in the most large-scale 1-km race."The cross of nations is not just a sports event, it is a socially important event advocating healthy life style and engagement in sports and physical culture", acknowledged the Minister of Ecology Farid Abdulganiev. - "It is not the first year that we actively participate in the event and take these marks. And today I would like to wish good mood and excellent results to all the participants". 

                "The cross of nations is a large-scale summer sports event held on the territory of Russia. It should be noted that Kazan is the only city of Tatarstan where the cross of nations is held. Besides the capital of Tatarstan, large-scale races will also be held in 79 other cities of our country.
