Fayaz Shakirov: "Muslyumovo district is one of the leading districts of the Republic when it comes to compliance with the nature protection legislation". Ecological specialists of Tatarstan carried out a visiting conference today.

A visiting conference took place today in Muslyumovo district of Tatarstan. It included Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources – Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of Nature Protection Fayaz Shakirov, Head of the Tatar Nature Protection Prosecutor's Office Ilsur Gilmutdinov, Head of the Kazan Nature Protection Prosecutor's Office Albert Khabirov, heads of all territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. "Over 2016, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed more than 6 thousand nature protection violations", informed Fayaz Shakirov, - "the fines were imposed in the amount of more than 45 million rubles".  He told about the work of inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology over the last 8 months of this year. As for Muslyumovo, the Head Inspector acknowledged that the violations revealed during the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign are being liquidated. The work is carried out on prevention of unauthorized landfills. "Muslyumovo is one of the leading districts of the Republic when it comes to compliance with the nature protection legislation and fulfillment of the plan of activities in the field of nature protection", acknowledged Shakirov.

During their visit to Muslyumovo district, ecological specialists familiarized with a series of nature protection events carried out within the framework of the Year of water protection areas. The Head of the District, Ramil Mullin, informed that potable water was plumbed almost everywhere: "The citizens of Muslyumovo drink spring water, we were able to provide the required amount of clean water. We have already covered 90% of the population, and our task is to cover 100%".  Another novelty - the district has completely refused the use of container sites, the trash is collected in bags, and the schedule for waste collection has been elaborated. Such a system allows to avoid waste accumulation and prevents unauthorized landfills.

Moreover, the coastline area of the Ik River has been beautified this year - comfortable and safe recreation places have been arranged for citizens: sidewalks have been beautified, the lighting system has been installed along with small architectural elements, the territory has been landscaped, a children's playground has been arranged along with an amphitheater, a bicycle track with bituminous surfacing has been laid along the entire coastline, and there are Wi-Fi zones.

 

Ecological specialists also checked the operation of waste treatment facilities and inspected new parks, "Kuray" and "Pushkin". A new task has been set to arrange a park in every settlement.
