The matters regarding air protection were discussed today at the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan

The issues regarding air protection, elaboration of the normative legal regulatory system and the system for instrumental and analytical monitoring were discussed today at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the framework of his visit, Alexander Solovyanov - Deputy Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution All-Russian Research and Development Institute "Ecology" - familiarized with operation of mobile and stationary posts for environment monitoring of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan, in particular, with the only in Russian and Tatarstan mobile laboratory equipped with a chromatographic mass-spectrometry system. As a reminder, Alexander Solovyanov participated in the XI All-Russian Research-to-Practice Conference "Industrial Ecology and Safety" named after A.I. Schepovskikh. He highly appraised the work of ecological specialists from Tatarstan in the field of air protection, in particular, he acknowledged successful implementation of the project aimed at transfer of transportation means to gas-motor fuel, which allows to significantly improve the air quality. Farid Abdulganiev, Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, also emphasized the need to carry out such meetings.  He acknowledged that special attention of the representatives of the state authorities, business communities and public to the matters of assurance of ecological safety allow to efficiently solve many problems in the field. "A complex approach that is implemented in Tatarstan is already showing its consistency: Nizhnekamsk was excluded from the list of cities with the largest man-induced air-related impact, while Kazan is among leaders in the list of cities with the most favorable state of the environment", emphasized Farid Abdulganiev.
