24 August 2016, Wednesday

"The state will support the companies implementing eco-friendly technologies", said Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation during the conference where budgetary expenditures for natural resources and environment protection were discussed, as it was reported at the official website of the Government of the Russian Federation. According to him, both federal and local authorities should implement adequate measures so it is advantageous for a company to create favorable conditions for nature conservation. Dmitry Medvedev acknowledged that ecology-related matters are among the top-priority matters, and additional resources would be allocated next year for the development of the most promising projects.

"Budget deficiency and macroeconomics are something rather vague for the majority of people. On the other hand, water and air quality, storage and processing of waste, possible hazardous natural situations, for instance forest fires, that we see a lot lately, worry people very much. And such problems should be solved right away wasting no time, I am speaking ofa more favorable budgetary situation. Almost in every settlement and in every region we see certain ecological problems entailing health and well-being risks, and accumulated ecological damage is still rather high", acknowledged Dmitry Medvedev.

As a reminder, a Strategy for the Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan has been adopted in Tatarstan for 2030, and assurance of ecology-oriented growth of economics is one of its tasks. A program mainly aiming at enhancement of the ecological efficacy, reliable protection of the environment and compliance with the nature protection legislation requirements is currently implemented at every large industrial company of the Republic.
