Clay was illegally extracted in Bugulma district - ecological specialists estimated the damage inflicted on nature by Reproduct LLC

A fact of illegal extraction of common mineral resources (clay) by Reproduct LLC in Bugulma district was revealed by inspectors of the South-Eastern Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Fellow workers of the South-Eastern Department registered an excavator at the site of quarry development that extracted and loaded clay. The area of the quarry amounted to 1,350 sq. m., the depth of excavation of mineral resources was 6-6.5 meters. Estimated damage inflicted on the mineral resources due to violation of the Russian legislation on mineral resources amounted to 1,784,316 rubles. On this case, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology drew a protocol on administrative offense against a legal entity  Reproduct LLC under Article 7.3, part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "Use of mineral resources without a license". A fine was imposed in the amount of 800,000 rubles. Case materials were referred to the law enforcement agencies to hold the offender criminally liable due to the theft of the state property, i.e. common mineral resources (clay).
