The Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia elaborated amendments to the law "On air protection"

The document was elaborated to eliminate conflicts of law of certain legal provisions regarding state recording of negative impact on the air and the relevant sources, the state monitoring of air, as well as production control, as it is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. The draft law is available for public discussion at www.regulation.gov.ru. The document envisages obligations for legal entities and sole entrepreneurs to monitor the air and its pollution in the area of the facility's impact within the framework of the production ecological control. Moreover, the draft law also provides for revised requirements to the results of the production control over the air. The powers to define the Procedure of the state air monitoring in compliance with the draft law are entrusted with the Government of the Russian Federation.
