The VIII All-Russian Conference of Geologists will be held in Moscow to define the strategy for development of the geological field

The VIII All-Russian Conference of Geologists will be held in Moscow on October 26-28, 2016. It is the most large-scale event in the life of the professional geological community, the main task whereof is to discuss the relevant problems of the geological study of subsurface resources and subsurface resources management, coordinate current approaches and plan the key strategic steps for development of the geological field. Field experts, representatives of academic and field science, geology-related companies, users of mineral resources, the adjacent ministries and authorities, the Government and the Chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation can participate in the event.

The event was organized bythe Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, and the Federal Subsurface Management Agency.

Tatarstan continues to check vehicles for environmental friendliness: 4,751 vehicles have passed the control

Since June 1, in Tatarstan, as part of the annual operation "Clean Air", inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology, together with the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the interregional territorial Directorate of Rostransnadzor for the Volga Federal District, have already checked 4,751 vehicles. In support of the national Ecology project, 4,271 passenger cars, 345 trucks and 135 buses were inspected.
